The EEE Department is the only department comprising CE, EE and ElecE in Hong Kong.

The department offers contemporary curriculum and stimulating learning experience for educating future leaders in EEE-related areas.

This programme’s contemporary learning process is designed to create well-rounded graduates with solid foundations through active learning, capstone experience, hands-on activities, internship, exchanges studies and service learning.

The curriculum encourages students to offer solutions to real life problems via design and innovation, and to foster and advocate entrepreneurship.

The Computer Engineering major covers hardware-software integration, ambient computing and robotic & autonomous systems. Electrical Engineering students will learn smart power systems, electric transportation and intelligent built environment. The Electronic Engineering curriculum will include mobile communication technology, ‘E-commerce’, microelectronics, photonics and integrated circuits.

Graduates develop fruitful careers in traditional areas (manufacturing, utility and urban transport) as well as rapidly evolving fields like internet commerce and semi-conductors. Paths in banking and business are also possible.

This programme is fully accredited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
