JS6377 Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering (Joint BEng / MSc Scheme)

The Faculty of Engineering aims to combine the solid and existing Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) programmes to nurture highly interdisciplinary engineers equipped with modern AI Master-degree skills to overcome various future engineering challenges.

Applicants can use one single code, 6377, to apply for the Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering (BEng X + MScEng AIE) programme.

The ‘BEng X + MSC AI’ programme aims to nurture students with interdisciplinary outlook to tackle challenges in rapidly emerging fields. Students can freely choose an existing Bachelor of Engineering Degree programme (X), and will complete a Master of Science Degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Engineering in 4+1 years. There will be fast-track opportunities where students can accelerate in their study plans. Each student will receive a scholarship of HKD120,000 upon enrolling in the Master of Science study in the fifth year. (Note: There is also an ‘Escape Clause’ where students can leave the University with a Bachelor Degree if they so wish.)

Students pursue fruitful career paths in a designated Engineering field from these rigorous programmes.

All bachelor degree programmes are fully accredited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
